Before You Start
Decide the amount you are willing to spend before you begin, and treat that amount as already spent rather than as money you expect to get back. This removes the pressure to keep going in the hope of recovering it. If a session stops feeling like entertainment and starts feeling like a task you have to finish, that is the moment to stop, not the moment to raise the stake. Keeping gambling money separate from money set aside for bills or borrowed from someone else means a loss stays a loss, instead of turning into a debt problem on top of it.
Chasing a loss — increasing a bet or continuing specifically to win back what has already gone — is one of the surest ways to lose more than planned, because the decision is being driven by the previous result rather than by the original budget. Taking breaks during a session, and stopping for the day once the planned amount is gone, keeps that decision in your hands. If gambling starts to feel difficult to control, it helps to involve someone else early — a partner, a friend, or one of the organisations below — rather than waiting until the situation has grown.
Help Organisations
Every page on this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial: unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.
What Happens Here
The eighteen-and-over restriction appears throughout this site, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. Each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.
- Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an operator account. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one of these on, check one or enforce one — they are arranged inside an account at the destination.
- Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any such check happens at the destination.
- No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour.
- Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site: each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.
